In this programme the children will learn era specific dance moves to hits of the time. We will look at the groovy 60's, funk 70's and eccentric 80's. Perfect for school anniversary celebrations, fundraiser/ dress up days!

Gymnastics/ Cheerleading
In this programme the children will look at point and patch balances and how they can move their bodies to represent mountains and rivers. By using picture and video stimulus to consider transitions and shapes, we will build up to creating bigger mountain formations as a class, requiring innovative thinking, strength and team work.

Gymnastics
In this programme the children will learn to use apparatus like balls, ribbons, scarfs and bean bags to create movement and phrases that are inspired by the Solar System. By drawing on prior knowledge of the planets they will be able to consider dynamics, speed, size and transitions to create an awe-inspiring, perfectly balanced routine... just like our wonderful piece of the universe.

In this programme we will look at the dance styles during the war; such as The Lambeth Walk and Swing dances like The Lindy Hop, Charleston and Jitterbug.

Whether you are learning about the roaring 20's, the swinging 30's, wartime gatherings of the 1940's, rock 'n' roll of the 50's or the groovy 1960's onwards.
